Celebrating the Feast of Saint Dominic in the motherhouse

It was very exciting with Connie Dizon and Nonoy decorating the motherhouse with such great passion for the Feast of Saint Dominic.

The following day was a celebration with a mass presided by Fr. Tony Aureada, OP. We were all in a celebratory mood. We are a people of celebration.

We maybe few but felt. Sr. Matthew together with  our Lay Mission partners particularly ROSA (Regina Rosarii Service Assistants) work hand in hand with us. We celebrate the 9th anniversary of the unveiling of Our Lady in the City

mama Mary ed
Time flies so fast. We celebrated the 9th anniversary of the unveiling of our Lady in the City. And our Lady has protected our surroundings around Quezon City, as Sr. Eppie has spoken that whenever we see smoke and fire we would turn our Lady to that direction and pray for the protection of people and that fire will die down. We have done it many times.

Our Lady has called people near and far as many people would come up to pray. People would ask us when they see our Lady can we come up to pray? She has answered a lot of prayers and one of them is Regina. She was born 6 months old because her mother has pre eclampsia. She stayed 3 months in the incubator. Who would say a baby as big as the palm of your hand could now be a big girl. Regina came to thank the people who prayed for her that she may live. She sang for us Annie’s song – Tomorrow. Many cried.

They spear headed the celebration under the leadership of Connie Dizon. Some members of this group are cancer victors who are now serving the sick who would come for the healing mass every Saturday at 5 PM in our motherhouse. Some are relatives of the cancer victims and survivors.

There is more to life, join us and become a Dominican Sister of Regina Rosarii and experience with us the varied amazing ways God is touching us in our life as a community and as a sister. There is indeed more to life.
